The Flight of the Eisenstein

As with the previous book, my investment in the sprawling narrative of the Horus Heresy only grows with each successive volume. This one starts off a little weird, and I was confused until near the midpoint of part one. Here, the Heresy splits into very wide narrative threads, and this one is woven into the primary a little clumsily. It all comes together in the end, though, and Swallow does a fantastic job of describing some of the most grotesque monstrosities I've ever heard.

On to the next, then.
