Christopher Jack Nilssen grew up in Canada, the son of a Norwegian sea captain and a Mohawk legal professional.
His work has been self-published on his personal website DARK ACRE (darkacrejack.com). He is the author of the short story Parlow’s Choice, the novella Tale of the Madeus, the novel Ambia, and many works of poetry and short fiction.
A two-time awardee of the Nora Mitchell Bursary, Mr. Nilssen is completing an undergraduate degree in creative writing at Vancouver Island University through the generous support of Grand River Post Secondary Education Office and the Canadian Government.
He lives in Nanaimo, Canada, with his wife of a quarter century and their cat, Teto.
