Casino Royale

This was fantastic and breezy read. This was not a book whose intended audience was of the female persuasion. It absolutely tickled my masculine side, much in the same way the classic Doc Savage books did. I think there's still a place for writing like Fleming's, and characters like his original Bond, in today's world. Books for men, by men.

On a side note, this is the first full book I've managed to read in a single day. It seems the reading practice is starting to pay dividends, at least so far as it comes to consuming pulp fiction.
