Toy Box Analogy

A book is a toy box filled with explanations. The thing about it is that you’ve got to root down through all the toys at the top to get to the good ones. And that process of rooting is important because the toys that you throw over your shoulder become important later. You can collect some nice sets of toys from the combination of the surface stuff and what’s buried near the bottom. But you find a lot of cool stuff to play with on your way down through the box, and sometimes that stuff even plays with you.
