"And it had this horn, you know? Or maybe it was a bunch of horns, I couldn't be sure, but the sound was deafening. You could hear it from leagues away. A brassy and trumpeting thunder that rolled over the hills and through the walls. It would set the teacups rattling in their saucers, and glass window panes shivering in their frames."
"Why would it have such a feature?"
"Who knows? To strike terror, I suppose. If so, it worked all too well."
